The European Union has abolished roaming charges
From 15 June on the territory of the European Union entered into force the decision to abolish roaming charges.
From this day inhabitants of the European Union, traveling in Europe, and that 28 countries can make calls, use mobile Internet, send SMS messages at the same rate as in the country of residence. The European Commission has called the abolition of roaming charges one of the biggest achievement of the EU. Work on this question was carried out for 10 years. Roaming without additional charges will apply to people living in Europe and travelling to other EU countries. Soon free roaming will be introduced in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway which are not members of the EU but outside the Schengen area.
