New buses in Madrid

In the Spanish capital, the authorities launched a new route urban transport – electric buses. Route zero-fare for all passengers is free. The main part of the route passes through the Central part of Madrid. The municipality of Madrid is trying to encourage car owners to avoid traveling around the city by private cars and switch to public transport, as well as protect the environment from pollution. The new buses will ply at 7 am to 11 PM. The city plans to launch soon a second route.
